If you are wondering what to send for a psychic drawing, the short answer is: less than you think. Every drawing I make accepts a name and a short note, and both are optional. I work in pencil from what comes while I hold your order, so the context is there to give me a direction, not to describe your life. This page explains what each of my three drawing formats asks for, what helps, what gets in the way, and how to protect your privacy while you write it.
What the context is for
When I sit down to draw, I read your name and your note carefully before I start. Faces, marks and symbols come while I work. The note is the thread I hold onto while that happens. A clear thread keeps the drawing focused on the question you actually care about. A tangled one gives me several directions at once, and the drawing can end up trying to answer all of them.
So the aim is not to give me as much information as possible. It is to give me the one thing that matters most to you right now.
What each drawing format asks for
Future Partner Portrait
The optional context is your name and a short note about your relationship question. This drawing is a hand-drawn pencil portrait of the person I sense coming toward you, with a short note of my intuitive impressions: who they seem to be, their initials, and how you may meet. Your note might say what you are hoping for, or what you are ready to leave behind. You can read more about the format itself on the page about the psychic drawing of your future partner.
Psychic Drawing of Future Child
The optional context is your name and a short family note. This drawing is held around family, becoming a parent, or the personal meaning of that question. A family note can be as simple as who you are hoping to raise a child with, or what the question of parenthood means to you at the moment. The page on the psychic drawing of a future child explains what that piece is.
Higher Self Drawing
The optional context is your name and the intention to hold in the artwork. This drawing is a symbolic portrait shaped around a personal intention, inner direction, or a moment of transition. An intention written as one sentence in the present tense often works well. The higher self drawing page has more on that format.
Good and poor context, as examples
These are general illustrations I have written to show the difference. They are not taken from any order.
Helpful for a Future Partner Portrait: "I am ready for a steady relationship after a long time on my own." It is short, it is about you, and it tells me where to look.
Less helpful: a long paragraph listing three past partners, what each one did wrong, and a question about whether one of them will come back. That turns a portrait into a question about a specific person's choices, which a drawing cannot honestly answer.
Helpful for a Future Child drawing: "We have been talking about starting a family and I want something to reflect on together." It names the question gently and leaves room.
Less helpful: a request to confirm the sex, birth month or exact name of a child. Those are details a drawing cannot promise.
Helpful for a Higher Self Drawing: "I am choosing to trust myself in this new work." One line, in your own words, with a clear direction.
Less helpful: a list of ten goals across money, health, love and career. Pick the one that feels most alive and hold the others for another time.
I go into this more slowly, with ways to find your one sentence, in the journal post on how to write the context for a drawing.
Who this guide is for
It is for anyone about to order and unsure what to type in the box. It is also for people who have ordered written readings before, because those are different: my written readings require context, since I am answering a specific question. Drawings do not. If you are coming from a reading, you can write much less here.
Privacy: what not to send
Please do not send passwords, bank details, identity numbers, home addresses or phone numbers in your context. I do not need them for any drawing. If your note mentions another person, a first name is plenty. Leave out surnames, workplaces and anything that would let a stranger identify them.
It is also fine to keep private things private. If there is a part of your story you would rather not write down, leave it out. The drawing does not depend on it.
Use an email address you can open
What you receive is a digital image of the finished pencil drawing, sent by email to the address used at checkout. That makes the email field the one detail that truly matters. Use an address you check often and can open on the device you will use to view the drawing. Avoid old work addresses, addresses you share with someone you would rather did not see it, and any address you have trouble signing into. If something goes wrong with your order details, the support page is the place to start.
How long it takes and what it costs
All three drawings are USD 29. The Future Partner Portrait arrives within 48 hours. The Psychic Drawing of Future Child and the Higher Self Drawing arrive within 72 hours. I make every one myself, by hand. You can add the Future Partner Portrait to your basket, or see all three formats together on the psychic drawings page. PARTNER30 takes 30% off a first order at Stripe checkout.
What good context cannot do
Even a perfect note cannot turn a drawing into a guarantee. It cannot make the portrait match a particular person, fix a date, or decide something for you. Context helps me hold your question clearly. The drawing remains a creative spiritual offering for reflection.
